Choctaw Nation Information

Beginning June1, 2022, I will not be providing grades for the Choctaw Start awards.  It is now the parents responsibility to submit grades via the parent portal.  If you have any questions, please let me know.l

 

Choctaw Nation Scholarships: Applications are open January 15 – March 31, 2022.

Choctaw Nation High School Student Services (HSSS) program: Students may apply online by filling out the online application through the Chahta Achvffa portal located at www.choctawnation.com or by clicking this link https://chahtaachvffa.choctawnation.com/.  If the student is below the age of 18, the parent/legal guardian must sign the form.  Once they are in the portal, they will want to choose the Student Record Release icon. 

 

 

 

Choctaw Nation high school graduation cord: 

High School Graduation Cords

Braided in purple and white, the graduation cords feature a charm displaying the Great Seal of the Choctaw Nation. Graduation cords are presented to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma graduates to keep as a memento. We encourage students to review and adhere to their school graduation policy.

Requirements to receive a Choctaw High School Graduation Cord:

  • The student must be graduating with a High School or High School Equivalency diploma (GED, HiSET, etc.) within the school year the application is completed.
  • The student must hold a valid Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Tribal Membership.

**If the online application is completed less than 4 weeks prior to your anticipated graduation date, we cannot guarantee that the stole will be received prior to graduation. Please allow at least 4 weeks for processing and delivery**
