Wildcats Get Twin Wins at Tishomingo Tuesday; Watch Archived Video

The Madill varsity girls basketball team trounced Tishomingo 60-39 on the road Tuesday night. The Madill boys used a strong fourth quarter to take care of the Indians 35-22 for the fifth consecutive victory. 

The Lady Wildcats absolutely eliminated any hope for Tishomingo as Madill scored the first 22 points and held the Lady Indians scoreless in the first frame. Perimeter shots fell for the East Central University signee Jayden Weiberg and Haylee Elkins. Interior shots came from Braylee Schneider, Joslyn Stumblingbear and Lydia Landgraf.

The Madill boys jumped to a 9-0 advantage in the opening quarter and that proved to be the difference down the stretch for the ‘Cats. Madill held a 17-16 edge at the break. Tishomingo briefly took the lead in the third quarter. Madill regained the edge and finished the triumph and won by double digits.
