Homecoming for Wrestling Postponed to Feb. 1; Basketball Homecoming Postponed to Jan. 28

The Madill wrestling team will have homecoming postponed until Feb. 1. Junior high matches are set to begin at 6 p.m. The wrestling homecoming ceremony will start about 6:45 p.m. The basketball homecoming has been postponed to Jan. 28. in the Wildcat Fieldhouse. The varsity girls game begins at 6:30 p.m. The homecoming ceremony will start of the conclusion of the boys game.

The homecoming court for wrestling includes freshmen princesses Codie Shaw, Rylee Mathews, and Kiai Henry with senior queen candidate Jimena Guevara. The wrestling escorts are seniors Tito Gomez, Brandon Stevens, Koby Sandefur and Houston Stephenson. The flower girl is Vivian Pierce and crown bearer is Daxtyn Sliger. 

The homecoming court for basketball includes senior queen candidates Joslyn Stumblingbear, Abbie Lambertsen, Jayden Weiberg, Lydia Landgraf, Braylee Schneider, and Leonie Hamm. Escorts are seniors Zeke Fuentes, Hayden Harper, Nick Northcutt, Javier Gomez, Kendall Robertson and Cornelius Smith. The flower girl is Kimberlynn Valadez and the crown bearer is Kastyn Davis. The games and coronation will be streaming from the Madill Hudl Youtube Channel

The basketball teams go to Tishomingo tonight (Jan. 11) and the games are expected to be streaming on Madill’s Livestream Click Here the varsity girls begin at 6:30 p.m.

There will be no girls junior varsity game at Tish. The JV boys begin at 5 p.m.
