Alternative Education Program
I graduated from Madill High School in May 1992.
I am certified in the following areas:
I joined the faculty at MHS in August of 2004. While at Madill, I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Honor’s Geometry, Alternative Education, and Credit Recovery courses.
I am currently teaching Alternative Education and Credit Recovery courses. This is my tenth year in the Alternative Education program.
I am also an adjunct mathematics instructor for Murray State College. I currently teach two transitional mathematics courses and Survey of Math.
Prior to coming to MHS, I spent seven years with the Kaufman, Texas Independent School District. I was a middle school/high school mathematics teacher at the Accelerated Learning Center from 1997-2002 and then I taught Algebra I and TAKS remediation classes at Kaufman High School from 2002-2004.
During my time at Kaufman, I was also a part time instructor for Trinity Valley Community College on the Terrell Campus, where I taught developmental courses and GED classes.
My husband, Lee, and I were married August 2, 1997. We have two children. Our daughter, Rylee, is a 2018 MHS graudate and is currently attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she is majoring in Business. Our son, Ryan, is a 5th grader at Madill Elementary.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading and watching my son play sports.
