For the second time in as many weeks, the Madill football team put at least 35 points on the board in the first half and left little doubt in a 42-6 triumph against Tishomingo Friday.
The club played fast Friday. It didn't take long before the Wildcats hit paydirt on a Dekevis Jordan two-yard run to open the scoring. Colt Crowson's touchdown run from four yards out at the 5:20 mark of the first period widened the margin. Tevor Goff hauled in a Raygan Dodd pass for a 59-yard scoring play with 2:20 still to play in the first frame. Jesus Alvarez's extra point gave the 'Cats a 21-0 cushion. Tish answered that score quickly with a 70-yard kick return with 3:09 to go in the first quarter. Dodd tacked on a 13-yard touchdown run with 43 seconds remaining in the first for the 'Cats.
Crowson added his second TD rush of the night from six yards out with 4:48 left to play in the first half.
JJ Sanders capped the 'Cats scoring with a 31-yard TD reception from Dodd. Madill hosts Heritage Hall next Friday at Blake Smiley Stadium.
